Tokio Hotel’s debut album Schrei turns 15 today.

The album including the singles Durch den Monsun, the title track Schrei, Rette Mich and Der Letzte Tag, hit the #1 on German and Austrian charts, becoming a success also in the nearby countries like Switzerland, France, Czech Republic and Poland.

Some trivia:

Schrei has sold over 1,500,000 of copies worldwide within 2007.

The album was recorded between 2003 and 2004.

The most part of the songs were written by Bill Kaulitz when he was around nine years old.

The album was certified as triple gold in Germany selling 300,000 copies. The record got gold certification in Belgium, Hungary, Romania and Switzerland, and the platinum certification in France and Poland. In Russia and Austria it got the platinum certification.
